I'm feeling pretty well, Thank God which is surpising since I didn't sleep very well last night and I woke up with a headache. I had physical therapy and it went very well. We even started on the stairs.
The doctors have actually said the "H" word..."HOME". The abcesses are improving and the abdominal pain is improved B"H. That's going to take some time to go away. I'll need to be here on the anti's at least until the end of the week. We'll see from there.
Illana just told me that she "hates this blog" and wants me to stop doing it. I don't know if I can. So for now, I'm still here because I'm addicted and I need you!
Thank you for all of your prayers and good wishes and positive energy. I believe in miracles even if "you know who*" doesn't.

Hi Leah
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to hear that you are feeling better and are continuing on the road to recovery and home!
Speaking from the standpoint of a "little sister" myself, I am pretty sure Illana still believes in miracles! You are proof of them for her! My sister and I are twins who are 3 1/2 years apart! We hate to see each other hurt or suffer as you know since I am sure you and your sister feel the same.
For those of us who check in on you every day, please don't stop!
Continue getting better and go home!
Sandye
So glad you're feeling better. Please don't stop the blog. Just yesterday my mother called me all concerned because she checked in with you (like she does every day) and the blog was blank. I told her there must have been a problem with it because you were feeling better and even knitting. She was very happy to hear that.
ReplyDeleteWe will all continue to believe in miracles. Looking forward to having you home.
It is so great to hear that you are feeling so much better. And the "H" word sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to bringing over the Bosch to bake with you and Illana.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the blog goes, please don't stop. First of all we all need it so there is some selfishness in my statement. Second, but more importantly, I saw first hand last week how your face lit up when you read what people wrote to you on the blog. I even commented to you that I knew it was uplifting for all of us but never realized how much it truly meant to you.
This blog is our lifeline to you. I know for myself I don't want to be a pain and call you everyday. This way, I feel connected to you and I'm sure that everyone else feels the same.
You are truly amazing and a real miracle. I'm sure that Illana still believes in miracles, she only has to look at you to know that they exist.
Love you and can't wait for you to get home.
Shelly
P.S. Mom and Chaim send love.
Mommy,
ReplyDeleteI love that you're feeling better. I'm so happy to hear that you'll be home soon enough! But I really must protest any suggestion that you may do away with this blog. It's got so many good qualities, and there are so many people who wish to check up on you.
Let us not discount how writing on the blog makes YOU feel. It's therapeutic and helpful to your recovery.
I Love you, mom. Feel even better. I'll see you soon.
-Jacob
Lee,
ReplyDeleteDon't listen to what any of 'em say. Can it!
Me
Leah - I (being the little sister myself - and 2 years younger than my twin - DNA if nothing else), love your blog! Please, for those of us in Florida, who have no other way of checking up on you, (other than FB, which you would have a lot of walls to write on) please don't do away with the blog. I love to get your updates and know that you are improving each day.
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch with us - we love you very much.
Marsha
I vote in favor of the blog

Hi Leah. So glad to hear that you are feeling better and will be going home soon. You are always in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteWe believe!
With love,
Heather and David
Leah I signed that petition too! What does Illana know she's just a shvester. We need you and the rest of your angels to complete our day. This blog not only makes me feel connected you but to everyone else who loves you! Maybe if everything is status quo skip a day or two. I'm sure this is better that a hundred phone calls (which I know how much you like speaking on the phone.) I hope the rest of the week will be uneventful so that you will feel strong enough to come home. Go for the gold.. Love always, Beth xxxoooxxx P.S. Illana I still love you even though you had a senior moment.
ReplyDeleteLeah,
ReplyDeleteDon't stop. Illana didn't mean it. It keeps all of us who care about you connected, with you and each other. I don't think I know who Shelly is, but she expressed my sentiments exactly. And Jacob.... he brought tears to my eyes. Love you, Geanie
