If you are unable to donate blood today at the Young Israel of Woodmere, there is a BLOOD DRIVE tomorrow in OCEANSIDE at the Knights of Columbus on Kenneth Place from 3:30PM - 9:00PM.
What an awesome thing. I wish I could donate and "pay it forward." Not sure if we will ever have the green light to donate, but I sure am an advocate for them and I am sure to thank people that do donate. I even thanked a stranger wearing a blood bank t-shirt once. My dad and my sister's father in law are both O-Neg, the universal donor's, so they both donated to my account at the blood bank here in central florida, but I needed way more than they could provide, so I got some stranger's blood too. Hope you are feeling well and continuing to mend each minute. Keep in touch.
I don't think we'll ever be able to be donors. I've been getting transfused so often and it's always "stranger's blood". I, too wish I could "pay it forward". We'll do that in other ways. YOU, are already doing it already, BIG TIME. Not a day goes by when one of my friends does not mention how "your friend Marsha" is a lifesaver. Feel good, Marsha. Love you. xoxo
