Illana again here. Just wanted to give you a quick update though there's not much new to share as the doctors themselves seem a bit baffled. I'm here with Leah, Mom and David at the hospital. We are waiting for the results of many tests, cultures and biopsies. We may not have some of them until Tuesday or Wednesday. In the meantime, Leah still has the painful welts, as well as, the original abdominal pain that brought her here in the first place. But, thank G-d, she did manage to get out of bed today for the first time in four days and is now sitting semi-comfortably in a chair.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and we'll do our best to keep you posted.
Love to all!
Illana...Thank you so much for the update.
ReplyDeleteLeah is in my thoughts and prayers all day and night. Please let her know we are always thinking about her.

Whoa!!My heart and mind are filled with good thoughts and tefillah to the haKadosh BaruchHu that he grant Leah a refuah shelama. that a neshama as good and pure (and funny) as hers merits a refuah so she may continue to enhance and enrich the lives of all she touches. Keep fighting honey !!!!

First of all, Illana, thank you for keeping us all posted. It means alot that you take the time out of all you're going through to think of all of us. Hashem should give you, and the rest of the family, the strength to be there for Leah and for each other.
ReplyDeleteLeah, as always you are in my heart and mind and in my tefillos, that doesn't change. I've spread the word to all my e-mail contacts and called Moshe in Israel to get your name out for lots of tefillos. I'm sure that you will bounce back from this bump in the road and be back home before you know it, feeling great.
We will have our coffee and Bed, Bath and Beyond!!!!
Love ya.
Shelly
Illana thanks for the update, it means soo much to know what's up. Leah I know this must be so scary for you and the family. I feel soooo badly that you and the family are experiencing such angst. I hate for you or the family to hurt in anyway. I do believe in you to ride out the storm and for Hashem to guide you to ride the wave. I'll keep on praying for a speedy recovery. Always on my mind in in my heart. Love Buford xxxoooxxx

ReplyDeleteIllana,
ReplyDeleteYou are such a blessing to Leah - Thank you so much for keeping us all updated. Tell her that I am here in Florida praying for her to get better, and for all the rest of the family to have the strength to get through this. I hope they figure it out soon, and that she can get back home to her surroundings where I know it is easier to heal. Again, thank you so much for YOU and for keeping us updated. You are very special to Leah - I can tell by the way she talks about you.
Marsha

ReplyDeleteYou are the focus of every prayer, and Tehilim, and I have been learning various halachos each day in the Z'chus that you should have a complete Refuah. How I wish there was more I could do.
