T+11

Hi. Sorry I didn't write earlier. Everything is going along well. My white count seems to have started to come back a bit. That's a good sign. I'm still very tired and also very bald. Wishing you all a wonderful healthy weekend and a good shabbos.

  1. I'm really glad that we've turned the corner and my stem cells are keeping busy.
Just remember that your hair will grow back whereas bothDavid's and my own hair wont.
    Good shabbos. Great news.

  2. Leah,
Great to hear that your count is starting to head up -- super news indeed! I like your head covering in the picture. Are those penguins on top? I go for the fedora look myself and can always lend ya one of those if you would like!
Obviously the important thing is to keep getting better and we will pray for that to keep a-happening.
    Have a good shabbos.

  3. Wonderful news about the white count....this is just the start of only good news from now on. I know you are upset about the hair thing...but given the situation and the reality of life..we know its meaningless. You are the most beautiful person I know with or without hair. You also have hair that seems to grow at an amazing rate and will grow back in no time..so just keep smiling and know that you are loved so so much.
Have a great shabbos , my moonie...I will be thinking of you. Big hug to mom from me xoxoxo

  4. I knew that when you told me your hair started thinning, that, according to my dr. you white count should have bottomed out then - and that you should be on your way back up. You make sure to keep your head covered up there in that cold and snow. And have fun with the hats. I had people all the time trying to buy my hats from me - right off my head. If it hadn't been bald underneath, I would have probably done it! :-) Keep a smile on your face - you are a beautiful woman. Let me know if you need anything.

  5. Good morning honey. I am glad to hear that you are finally turning the corner. You are still bald, but at least you will be gowing your hair back. I wish I could say that. Hang in there. I am leaving for Florida Mon. AM to see the kids. I will be back on Fr. I will try to blog you when I am away. As always, our prayers are with you. Love, Dad and Joyce

  8. Stuart and I went away for Shabbos with the kids and I did not have a chance to go on line all Friday. You were on my mind a whole Shabbos and so of course here I am, about 4 minutes after Shabbos ended. Thank G-d your numbers are going up. Hopefully you will really just get stronger a little bit every day. Even without the hair I know that you are still beautiful, inside and out. I'm sure you will be very creative with the bandanas and hats until it all grows back.

    Love you,

    Shelly

  10. I'm glad to see you smiling with your furry friends. I'm sorry I didn't write, but as you know life happens. Mark is home with celulitis, Noah has strep and I'm going to P.T. for a pinched nerve. But compared to you this is a walk in the park. Thank G-D your numbers are going up and that you are feeling a little better. I hope that for the duration of your recovery it should be quick, painless and uneventful. I know you're beautiful with or without hair and you look especially good in hats. Send my love to everyone. Love Beth xxxoooxxx

  15. Hey Cuz, I think you look great!! I hope you are feeling better. Two questions. 1st. So does this mean I actually have more hair than you. One word for you "Rogaine". Now that we got that one out of the way. How much for the "mimis" you just can's get that good a quality down in FLA. Don't throw them out, they get better with age. I still have mine. It's just getting broken in at 43. Miss you. Hang in there. I hope you are smiling.

P.S. I started my own blog and I am using W+ days now for days in the "W" pants. I'll wear them until you get out. I hope it's soon these things are killing me.
