Hi. Things are moving along. The steroids seem to be working. I'm still on a liquid diet but the doctor said he's just being conservative. The steroids make me feel kinda jittery. I've been spending most of the time out of bed. I haven't really been sleeping much at all. But I'm feeling stronger every day and am looking forward to getting home.
Autumn, take your time, rest up and heal ... THEN we'll talk meatballs.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. You can't imagine how much they help.

Thank G-d you are feeling better and the medication is working. Hopefully you will be coming home very soon.
ReplyDeleteStuart and I had a big cleaning day today, getting ready for my Mom and Chaim to move in. When my mom moved out of her house she gave me a box of my stuff. I first went through it today. Cute pictures. You and I at the Museum of Natural History when we were in like 3rd grade with matching long pig tails. So cute!!!! Can't wait to show it to you. I wish I knew how to get the pictures on the computer. I'll have to ask one of my kids.
There are also a few pictures of us when we were a bit older and one with a male that is not either of our husbands and I have no recollection of who it might be. Oh well!!
Keep getting stronger and we'll keep looking forward to seeing you home and healthy.
Love ya, Shelly
hi leah, looking good, i love the photos. Keep up with the recovery, so glad the steroids are helping you feel better and your appetite is coming back. It'll be so nice when you come home, looking forward to visiting with you in person. What are you doing with your non sleeping time, i imagine you have some good books, but i'll send you something good with ilana, she'll tell me what you like, by the way, there's some good jewish websites, like naaleh.com, ou.org, if you want to hear some interesting lectures, and at worst if you don't find them interesting maybe they'll help you sleep. Keep sending us good news, feel better, refuah sheleima and speedy. Jenny
