I just want to post this photo which was taken by another donor's father. Avram had been hooked up by both arms for 4+ hours. From what I understand, he got to spend the time with some pretty amazing people -- amazing like himself, that is!
Avrum, you are truly amazing!!!! I hope you're feeling well from the procedure.
Leah, I hope you are feeling stronger today and will continue getting stronger daily. I look forward to reading more later, and maybe see some more pictures. Are you going to be allowed visitors besides family at any point?
He is an inspiration to us all -- so totally and unconditionally giving. Your strength is also inspirational. This blog gives us a window into how strong and determined you are. Those qualities will pay you great dividends as you recover. We can all learn great lessons from both brother AND sister!
I'm so glad you're feeling stronger. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You are fortunate to have such a loving and supportive husband and family. We hope to see you soon.
