Monday Night

Hi. I'm back. My thanks to Mom and Illana for filling in for me while I wasn't feeling quite up to it. Today, thankfully, was a pretty good day. I'm feeling less nauseaus and a little stronger. I've lost track of the names and numbers of drugs I've taken either by mouth or infusion over the past few days.

Now, 9:00 on Monday Night, the chemo treatments are all behind me and so is the transplant. I think I slept through the transplant today but it's nice to know that the rest of the family was here to witness it. I'm still very confident and I'm using every imaging, biofeedback, relaxtion exercise etc. that I know to get it all goin' on the way I know it's going to.

Sorry for slackin' off the past coupla days. I've got to focus my energies inside right now. But you have been loving, loyal & supporting and I can just feel it. Thanks again. More later -- I hope -- with photos.

  3. Yay, you're back!!!! You were missed but thanks to your family everyone was able to be kept up to date. You just concentrate and do all the imaging and whatever else necessary to get those critters to do their thing. We will all just keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I know it probably sounds clice but today is definitely the first day of the rest of your life.

Send love to your mom from me and also to Avrum. Good thing you forgave him for the whole sleeping bag fiasco, huh!!!! Or was that Illana??

    Love you.

  5. Just got home after having dinner with your aunt and uncle. Got all the poop, amazing what a good pooper scooper can do. Am wonder how many writers ever said, 'and he scooped the poop'
It might make some of the newspapers more entertaining.

  12. Hi Leah!
My name is Tziril Yurman I don't know if u know who I am, so let me introduce myself.
I'm Chava Moskowitz's niece. My aunt Chava is your sister Illana's friend. over the years I can say that we became family friends.I actually met you last year at Illana's house.
This morning Illana called my aunt Chava to tell her about you, and I happened to be there. We were all shocked! As soon as I got to work I opened the blog and read it and cried like a baby! (Thank god my desk is situated in a corner!)Then I remembered the conversation we had at Illana's and the inner strength and the EMUNA you have! Your a positive attitude is the best remedy, so keep it up!
You will be with me at every TEFILAH!
    Wishing you a REFUAH SHELEIMA!!!
