Sorry I didn't update yesterday. They gave me another dose of Pentamidine yesterday at the hospital, preceeded by 50mg. of Benadryl so I was really out of it all day. The visit went very well, thank God. I didn't need any blood products. In fact, he's cutting me back to once weekly visits instead of twice weekly. My bood counts are holding nicely. We also cut back a bit more on the Prednisone, down to 15mg. daily. They're still watching the CMV level closely.
The physical therapist was here today and it's going really well. He noticed my progress and I HAVE been working very hard at it, except for yesterday when I was too drugged up to do my exercises.
I did a bit of cooking this morning and I only have a couple of other things to do in the kitchen. But right now I'm taking a break. I want to wish everyone a wonderful, peaceful and healthy weekend. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and good wishes.
Hi Leah, It's great that they are cutting back on the prednisone so that it will lessen some of your side effects. I hope you and the family had a nice shabbos. I know that they enjoy your cooking as well as I do. The food is the love we give to the chickadees around us. I hope you were able to sit outside today since it was sooo beautiful. I walked the boardwalk and through town. As soon as you are ready and feel strong enough, I'll come to pick you up and take you to the boardwalk. If you get tired we can sit and watch the surfers. ReplyDeleteLeiba Meir and Reuvain came in a little early, they got in from Israel Wednesday last week! Boruch Hashem everything is OK she saw the Doctor on Thursday and I am happy she is on this side of the ocean now!!!!

I have a full house tonight for break-fast. We are going to Lakewood to my sister Dvorah for Purim! The weinbergers are joining us as well and Yisroel, Bashie and Zev, my nephews Leahs boys will lalso be there as well!! I am so excited to be with the young generation,I havent been with them in years since they were always in Yeshiva!!
