A slight improvement

Good morning. Just reporting that I'm feeling a slight improvement today, Thank God. I slept pretty well -- about 7 hours. The visiting nurse is scheduled to come this afternoon to change my dressing. Other than that, I'm going to take it real easy. Tomorrow morning I'm scheduled for another transfusion. Hopefully, after that, I'll be able to be a bit more productive.

Until later,
L

  1. Thank G-d you're feeling better today. Today is a good day to take it easy, it's so gross outside. Hope to be able to make another visit and come see you very soon.

Also, Ilana, enough with the little loser. You are a big winner!!!!

    Love you all.

  3. Dear Leah,

I've been checking up on you every few days, and am so glad to hear that you are feeling good today and are proceeding as expected from the doctors. Your are always on our minds and tefillot....you and our Tzahal heroes.
Ilana claims you don't want anything but given that we're going away next week, how about thinking of stocking up/freezing? Let me know (or via Ilana) it would be my pleasure. Please know, that I respect the word "no" and don't bring stuff unless the person expects/wants it.
FYI, tomorrow is Thursday i.e. shopping day, and Costco is on my list of stops.
Kalman is mending from his fall last week. He hopes he will be able to ski on vacation. If not, this should be an interesting trip, because the cost of relaxing and spa-ing and playing ski bunny comes at the cost of being in charge of preparing dinner and doing laundry.
Boys are in "finals" week in school. Did I tell you recently how much fun I'm having raising teenagers?????

    Wishing you continued good days....
    Love,
    Doba and family

Leah hang in there, i have had quite afew years that i was very anemic, my counts went as low as 4, and all i did was sleep and sleep and wake up and need to sleep more ,but as soon as your numbers will go up you will feel much stronger.
Hope things will get better and better.

Eat well, sleep well, and feel well!

  7. So, my mom called. She is very happy because she spoke to your mom today and got a great report. She would like to come with me when I visit you next.

She told me to send you love from her and Chaim and to ask you if your cells are 99-100% Avrum's, has it improved your cooking skills. She's a real comedian.

    Love ya again.

  8. Leah I'm glad you were feeling a wee bit better today. At least you didn;t have to travel in this disgusting weather today. Tomorrow should be cloudy with a chance of meatballs. LOL! Oh, sorry that's just one of my favorite children book. I hope everything will go smoothly tomorrow and you'll be back in the saddle again. I'll call you to see if you up for a shabbos visit. 10. Red,
You don't seriously think I need a memory jog, do you? I don't have your email address so here's my Hebrew name: Leah Rivkah bat Yehudit Chana. Thank you so much for your good wishes and tefillot, AND the hug...works miracles!
